FRIDAY NIGHT IS A
NIGHT AT BWS!
We have our annual Spaghetti Dinner with the ever popular raffle baskets. In addition the
Becket Arts Center will be professionally exhibiting our students’ artwork, and our band and
chorus will be performing. There’s still more! The Scholastic Book Fair will be open for your
browsing pleasure, and Gardens of the Goddess will have some of their beautiful plants for sale
to benefit the school.
Please try to join us for this community evening. Tickets for the Spaghetti Dinner are less
expensive if purchased beforehand, but are available at the door. Hope to see you Friday! And
please remember, students have a half day on Friday.

Contest.”There are some great prizes for the school with the most votes. Click here for more

BOOK FAIR VOLUNTEER SIGN UP
The Scholastic Book Fair will be open Wednesday through Friday, and the PTO is looking for
Fifth grader Willa Dowling placed second in the 2018 Massachusetts Arbor Day Poster
Contest. She was one of only 15 winners selected from more than 1500 entries from schools
across the state. The Department of Conservation and Recreation said Willa’s poster was,
“colorful, beautifully done, and clearly illustrated the theme, ‘My Community, My Trees.’” We
are so proud and happy for Willa.
